Uncle Charlie’s R&B Cookout Tour is pulling up this summer with the grill hot and the playlist even hotter. R&B legend Charlie Wilson is hitting the road with none other than Babyface, K-Ci Hailey, and El DeBarge, promising a night full of soul, nostalgia, and cookout vibes like only the grown folks know how to do.
Presented by Live Nation Urban and P Music Group, the tour kicks off August 27 at the iconic Hollywood Bowl before making its way to over 20 cities, including a must-see stop in Chicago on September 6 at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island.
Expect timeless hits like “Outstanding,” “All My Life,” “Whip Appeal,” and “Rhythm of the Night,” performed by some of the most legendary voices in R&B. Think of it as a family reunion… just with stadium lights, VIP cookout experiences, and a live soundtrack of the songs you slow danced to, cried to, and cleaned the house to on Saturday mornings.
“It’s gonna be one big family reunion,” says Wilson. “I’ve been performing for so long that my audience isn’t just made up of fans—it really has become family.”
